Paper Weights

Paper Weights is inspired by The Rime of the Ancient Mariner and is entirely composed with samples of paper – rustling, scribbling, flicking, tearing. The delicacy of the sounds you may expect to emerge from this material is counterbalanced with sounds which surprisingly evoke tension and the sense of an overbearing load (alluding to the weight of the albatross in the story).
